Training Schedule

February 24th 2025 through April 5th 2025

All Training meets on snow at the base of Gunbarrel, out of uniform, unless otherwise noted.

Snowboard

Mondays:

AM 9:00-12:00 (Alternating every other week)

Open Topic Shred Session (Spicy Line) Join this on-snow session where you will ride together, share ideas, and level up—both as riders and instructors. Spicy Line is for riders who are comfortable on steeper terrain, confident with speed, and ready to send it (within reason).

PM 1:00-4:00

Intermediate Freestyle Enhancement Session (SB) – This clinic is for riders who have some freestyle experience and want to continue to develop their skills and take their riding to the next level.

Open Topic Shred Session (Mild Line) – Join this on-snow session where you will ride together, share ideas, and level up—both as riders and instructors. Mild Line is for riders who want to refine their technique, build confidence, and keep it chill while still progressing.

Wednesdays:

AM 9:00-12:00

PM 1:00-4:00

SB Teach Improvement (L2+) – Open to snowboard instructors looking to improve their teaching and those training towards a Level 3 Certification. Must have at least a Level 2 certification.

Thursdays:

AM 9:00-12:00

Ride Improvement (L1+) – Open to all snowboard instructors looking to improve their riding and those training towards a Level 2 Certification. Pre-Requisite: Must have at least a Level 1 certification.

PM 1:00-4:00

SB Teach Improvement (L1+) – Open to all snowboard instructors looking to improve their teaching and those training towards a Level 2 Certification. Pre-Requisite: Must have at least a Level 1 certification.

  • Intro to Freestyle (Ski) – This clinic is designed for skiers who are new to freestyle and want to build confidence in the terrain park and natural features.

  • Intermediate Freestyle (Ski) – Whether you are building of the morning clinic or already have a set of freestyle skills you wish to hone; this clinic is the right fit.
  • Open Topic Shred Session (Mild Line) – Join this on-snow session where you will ski together, share ideas, and level up—both as skiers and instructors. Mild Line is for skiers who want to refine their technique, build confidence, and keep it chill while still progressing.

Wednesdays:

AM 9:00-12:00

Ski Improvement (L2+) – Open to ski instructors looking to improve their skiing and those training towards a Level 3 Certification. Pre-Requisite: Must have at least a Level 2 certification.

 PM 1:00-4:00

Teach Improvement Ski (L2+) – Open to ski instructors looking to improve their teaching and those training towards a Level 3 Certification. Pre-Requisite: Must have at least a Level 2 certification.

All Day – 9:00-3:30

Ski/Teach Improvement (Non-Cert) – Open to all ski instructors looking to improve their skiing, teaching and those training towards a Level 1 Certification.

Fridays: 1/10, 1/24, 2/7, 2/28, 3/14

Times: AM 9:00-12:00, PM 1:00-4:00

                Topics will cover a wide range, including teaching techniques for cognitive disabilities and visual impairments, as well as stand-up and bi-ski tethering, and much more! These multi-discipline clinics are open to all instructors eager to explore the adaptive side of the sport.

Fridays:

On-Snow: 1/17, 1/31, 2/14, 3/7, 3/21

                Times: AM 9:00-12:00,

Virtual (online): 1/10, 1/24, 2/7, 2/21, 2/28, 3/14

                Time: Evening (TBD)

                These clinics will focus on strategies and techniques for creating fun, engaging, and effective learning experiences for young skiers and riders. We will explore child development principles, age-appropriate teaching methods, games, and activities that build skills while keeping kids motivated and excited. More info still to come!
