Elective Training Participation Guide

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that our training clinics run smoothly, remain fair to all participants, and respect the time and effort of our trainers. By signing up for a clinic, you are committing to attend and to participate professionally.

Clinic Sign-Up Expectations

  • All clinics require advance sign-up.
  • Clinics are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • If you are unable to attend, it is your responsibility to remove yourself from the roster as soon as possible.

Attendance & No-Show Policy

  • No-shows are not allowed.
  • A no-show is defined as failing to attend a clinic without prior notice.
  • Two (2) no-shows without prior communication will result in the participant being unable to sign up for additional clinics until they meet with the Training Manager to discuss next steps.

Roster Removal & Communication

  • If you remove yourself from a clinic within 24 hours of the clinic start time, you must send an accompanying email to the Training Manager explaining the reason for the late change.
  • Early communication is encouraged and appreciated whenever conflicts arise.

Minimum Participation Requirements

  • Clinics require a minimum of three (3) participants to run.
  • If a clinic has fewer than 3 participants:
    • 48 hours out: the clinic will be cancelled.
    • 24 hours out: the clinic will be cancelled.
  • If a clinic roster drops below 3 participants within 24 hours of the start time, the situation will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Professional Standards

  • Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to participate.
  • Conduct yourself professionally and respectfully toward trainers and fellow participants.
  • Training time is an opportunity to learn and grow, please treat it as such.
