Lost or Separated Student Guidelines

Keeping every child accounted for is one of the most important responsibilities we have as instructors. While we strive to create fun, engaging, and memorable experiences, nothing takes priority over the safety and well-being of the children entrusted to our care. Losing track of a child, even briefly, can place them at risk, create significant stress for the child, and undermine the trust parents place in our program. Every instructor must know exactly how to respond should a lost student situation occurs. The following Lost or Separated Student Guideline outlines the procedures to follow to ensure a coordinated, timely, and effective response, with the safety of the child remaining our highest priority at every step.
