Steve Fullard was incredible for my family as a private instructor. He was amazing with my children, taking them from never skiiing to skiing Blue runs by lunch! He was energetic, engaging, patient, instructive and led them to be budding enthusiast skiers.
I took a private lesson with Bob and he was amazing, a great teacher and patient. Kids did 3 days of lessons: CA side (Delfina & Cami), Gondola and Boulder (Jenny Taylor). Even though it was cold and very snowy conditions, they had a great time and are already asking when they can go back. Great employees and instructors.

We continue to go to heavenly because Gavin Lynch is a great ski instructor. If it wasn’t for Gavin, we would be trying other mountains.

Staff were great from bottom to top of the mountain. In particular, Sara Bens, my wife’s snowboard instructor was excellent.

I took the snowboard group lesson, and the instructors (Luba and Dustin) were absolutely wonderful. They worked with each of us individually after they did a demo of what we were going to learn to correct our form. It truly helped me to feel more confident.
I took a lesson from Tim Fajen and he was awesome. Really appreciated his comments and the way he treated me. I would contact him again if/when I come back.

I REALLY want to give a BIG “Shout Out” to the ski instructor that I had on my first day there! Bill Mellerup. He was SO professional but also very personable. He really took the time to listen & analyzed my skiing level to a T! I haven’t been skiing long & always feel like it takes me 2 days to get “comfortable” on the slopes. Up until now, I’ve only felt comfortable on green runs not blues. I also had knee surgery 12 weeks prior. So, I was very anxious about hurting myself. Bill was very knowledgeable & quickly gave me several tweaks that gently pushed me to another level. After our lesson, I jumped right back on the Blue runs & skied ALL BLUES for the first time ever!!! I LOVED every minute!! THANKS BILL!!!

I took a 2 day ski class and both of the instructors I had were Amazing (Tom and Chris), it made my learning experience so much better.
I worked with Deon P. For my snowboarding lesson. He was an incredible instructor. My afternoon with Deon was the highlight of my trip at Heavenly. I learned so much and had a great time. Will purchase more lessons in the future simply from how good of an experience it was. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly insightful. He made i and the other students feel safe but also allowed us to learn and have fun. Amazing experience.

Skiing instructor Tim, (from San Diego), has great multitasking skills! He took extra attention helping women who was falling all the time at the beginning of the class and at the end she was able to complete green run! At the same time he gave all of us advices on how to improve our skills! It’s been five years since I skied last time and just after 2.5 hours I was completely comfortable on the lift and run, didn’t fall once!!!
My instructors Eric and John were very knowledgeable, patient, well organized, caring, and upbeat. They were both able to relay information clearly and in terms I could understand. Had a great experience and will be back for more lessons soon.
Our instructor Clara McClure was very patient and easygoing, polite, knowledgeable, and was on top of any detail/need no matter small or big and willful to make all ages happy.

Took a snowboarding lesson with Steve Liang and cannot recommend him enough to any snowboarder. He was awesome, patient, and very helpful! He helped me improve so much in the short amount of time I spent with him. We had a great time.
Most of the staff was great, especially our instructor Terry Coupe. He went above and beyond with my kids.

Did a 2 day snowboarding lesson. Day 1 was amazing, Shahid was so great! Was super patient, explained things super clearly, kept an eye out on all the students and helped appropriately based on the individual skill levels. Would take a lesson with Shahid without a question.
Our whole family took the lesson together, and the staff was helpful in ensuring us that it would be fine to start together, and then at some point I might peel off with our younger daughter while my wife and older daughter took on more advanced terrain. In the end, Bob Haas did such an amazing job that we were all skiing through the trees together with big smiles on our faces at the end. I’ve skied with my wife for fifteen years and she’s never gone in the trees with me. With Bob’s help I now have a whole family that likes to dart in and out of the glades with me. Thanks!

Ski school instructors were amazing. My 14 yr old son learned so much from Tomas and was able to progress from Blues to Black runs.
Maeva was incredibly tentative to my daughter as was Colleen. Giuliano and Josh were patient with my 7 yr old as well. I am appreciative that ski school holds an initial observation of skills to allocate them to the appropriate class. This helps them progress to the next level instead of learning what they’ve already learned. I feel that is essential and the purpose of ski school. Thank you to your attentive staff!

Instructor Tim was an amazing teacher – his 46 years of teaching experience came thru loud and clear. Excellent attention to detail, patience and very good at explaining things in an easy-to-understand manner.

It was my second time skiing and my ski instructor Willie was great and helped me build my confidence with new foundational skills.
My ski instructor, Tim, was a wealth of knowledge. I can’t recall his last name, but I do know that he is 70 and has worked on the moi train over 40 years.
Kyle, Max, Michaela, Devon and several others at the ski school are extremely friendly and helpful. Also there was a miscommunication on day one and we were refunded. All very reassuring.

We took a group ski lesson with Tim Rankins. He is an excellent instructor. I’ve been skiing for 15 years and wish I would have taken this lesson sooner. Made significant improvement in my technique and can’t wait to ski again. Tim is one of the best!
